to get sick and die. It is that I am at the point that I do not care if they do.

The ICU where I used to work has 8 rooms. It has 16 COVID ventilator patients. All who have to be turned into a prone position to get oxygen to the anterior part of their lungs for a period of time each day. It take about 4 people or more to do this safely. The nurse patient ratio in that unit is 1 nurse to 4 patients. This is dangerous. This is not going to end well. This is the fault of the unvaccinated.

them and perhaps endeavor to be especially polite to physicians, nurses, and all the ER staff.

In reality, it is the exact opposite. They are accusatory, offensively argumentative, totally unconcerned with others, and frequently demanding to the level of overtly threatening staff and others. How on earth they think this level of nasty belligerence is going to motivate exhausted HCWs to go that extra mile for THEM escapes me.

So, while I know everyone will continue to do their best, if I overhear a very honest but brutal comment about some of these cretins outside their hearing, it no longer phases me. (it once would have horrified me).

It was published in our local paper that among the unvaxxed (a) many of them do not even believe their C-19 diagnosis, that there must be a mistake, and (b) they get extremely upset when their friends and family are denied visitation rights.

My husband just told me a report about a 12 year old boy who went to the ER with gut pain. They figured out that it was his appendix but he had to wait for treatment. It burst while he was sitting in the waiting room.

Hubby had to quit reading. So I don't know the end result. Sepsis is a nasty thing.

Our daughter had appendicitis when she was about that age.

My nephew's wife (in a low vax state) had abdominal pains several weeks ago and was taken to the ER. She had to wait for several hours until they could see her due to the lack of operating rooms. She was in a lot of pain and ended up having an appendectomy, but fortunately, everything worked out fine in the end.

I truly have nothing but contempt for these people and what they are doing to us.

its harsh but i just dont give a damn anymore. i just read a story of a kid who had to wait 6 hours in an ER with appendicitis due to so many unvaxxed plague rats. his appendix burst while he was waiting (he survived).

Cases have increased recently and are extremely high. The numbers of hospitalized Covid patients and deaths in the Blount County area have also risen. The test positivity rate in Blount County is very high, suggesting that cases are being significantly undercounted.


Because of high spread, the C.D.C. recommends that even vaccinated people wear masks here.

I'm still masking and avoiding crowds even though I'm fully vaxxed because of these people. Until it kills them all or they get vaxxed we're all still at risk. My worry is that they are the ones who will host any mutation that overruns the vaccines.
