And then Democratic presidents come in and save the economy.
Democrats should remind voters of this every chance they get.
Repeat after me: The last three Republican presidencies ended in economic turmoil. And their Democratic successors had to clean up the mess. Voters need to be reminded again and again that putting Republicans in the White House puts our country in
recession.

(19,059 posts)This needs to be repeated everyday the next 4 years: Donald Trump had the worst jobs record of any US president since Herbert Hoover and he left the economy with the worst year for growth since WWII.

That has been the pattern for a long time now.

Democracy, business, products, community is no different to them. It's all the same game. Take the money for them.

(3,011 posts)like comparing republicans to parents who spend wildly on things that make them feel rich, but bankrupt the family and hurt their children's future. They could also throw in how republicans want to lock up the daughters and let the boys run wild. A good focus group could improve on this, but the idea is to craft messages in language ordinary people can understand.
