Especially this time of year. Anyone abandoned there could find human contact quickly. So I believe she was likely killed.

White male privilege at its most supreme.

It's one of the few exceptions to the privilege of which you speak, I'd say.

And so may be, on average, easier to solve.

Which is that the BF, even though he's a white dude, probably isn't going to get much 'privilege' when his young, pretty white girlfriend has gone missing.

It's kinda one of the few exceptions that's out there.

Unless, of course, you're also REALLY rich.

Gabby and Brian arrive in Moab, Utah to visit Arches National Monument. There, they have the Domestic Violence event with Moab Police. They separate for the night.

August 13, 2021
In an interesting twist, Kylen Schulte, 24, and Crystal Turner, 38 are last heard of on this day. Their murdered bodies are discovered on August 18th but it appears that Gabby was in Salt Lake and Brian was in Florida.

August 13-23, 2021
It is unknown when Gabby and Brian re-unite and drive to Salt Lake City. Or, if they even travel to SLC together. Media reports suggest Laundrie traveled to Florida by plane on August 17-23. The couple is seen leaving a SLC hotel on August 24th. Gabby's father sent them a pizza on the 23rd and her mother had a video chat with her.

August 24, 2021
Gabby and Brian are in Ogden, Utah visiting the Monarch art mural.

August 25, 2021
Couple arrives in Jackson Hole, Wyoming and the entrance of Grand Teton National Park. Gabby speaks to mother on phone and indicates they are going to go to Yellowstone National Park the following day.

August 27-30, 2021
Gabby's phone posts a few text messages that the family considers suspicious. There is no verbal or video discussions with Gabby.

In almost every state lying to the police is a misdemeanor. It only becomes a felony if you lie to them under oath. In this case it is not relevant because he is not talking to anyone period.

And generally when talking to the police you can only be charged with lying if it is about 1) your identity, 2) filing a false police report or crime and 3) speaking under oath. If it is outside those three you can't be successfully prosecuted. But in this case none of it applies when you don't speak to them.

Blissfully unaware of this.

I will say, though, it's crowded there. Can't imagine anything nefarious in the daytime.

Gabby Petito Disappearance: woman claims she and her boyfriend gave Brian Laundrie a ride in Grand Teton National Park

GRAND TETON NATIONAL PARK, Wyo. — NOTE: FOX 13 News has reached out to authorities at Grand Teton National Park, the FBI, North Port, Florida Police, and the family of Gabby Petito in an attempt to corroborate the information below. North Fork Police and a representative for Jim Schmidt, Petito’s stepfather, would only confirm they were aware of the video’s existence.

A TikTok user claimed that she picked up Brian Laundrie, the boyfriend of missing woman Gabby Petito, while he was hiking alone in Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming in late August.

In a video on TikTok published Friday, a user by the name of Miranda Baker said on August 29 she and her boyfriend picked up Brian Laundrie, who she said was hiking alone in Grand Teton National Park at 5:30 p.m.

This alleged incident was four days after Gabby's family last heard from her and three days before Laundrie showed up in Florida alone, driving the van that he and Gabby were traveling in.
