'Alabama Pickers,' Staunch Anti-Vaxxers, Both Dead Of COVID
YouTube stars Tristan and Dusty Graham, known for reselling found treasures, have both died within a couple of weeks of each other.
By Ed Scarce
YouTube stars Tristan and Dusty Graham have both died within a couple of weeks of each other. As is typical, a GoFundMe page was set up, this time by husband Tristan while he was in the hospital to cover the funeral expenses for his wife Dusty. Unbeknownst to him, he was also asking for his own funeral expenses.

Dusty and Tristan Graham lived in Huntsville, where they would often post videos about various tips and tricks to reselling vintage items like clothes and home decor. They sold on eBay under the username, bama4348.
Dusty died Thursday, almost three weeks after his wife did, according to the GoFundMe page set up by one of their children.
Their YouTube channel is now deleted, as is Tristan's last video where he talks about finding his wife dead at home and asking for help with funeral expenses. In the video above, captured by VAXX Man, connected to the website SORRYANTIVAXXER.COM, he says this:
Dusty later spelled out the word vaccine and said that it was actually a form of immunity therapy they were giving people.
Less than a month after this video was posted they were both dead.

As such, I'm sorry these folks weren't smart enough to take care of themselves in the patently obvious and readily-available way.

(759 posts)Im sure they were responsible and had health insurance through Obamacare. Or do you suppose these deadbeats were mooching off the system, racking up tens of thousands in hospital bills for someone else to pay? Seeing how they set up a GoFuckMe page begging for money I suspect its the latter.

(36,097 posts)Nice.
And even if they were "responsible" and had health insurance through Obamacare, you know those plans aren't exactly cheap, right?
As for this couple, no one knows what their financial circumstances were.

(759 posts)If I had my way Obamacare would not exist, healthcare for all would be covered as a basic human right.
But since that is not reality, decent folks are expected to have some skin in the game. Yes, even with subsidies Obamacare is expensive. What I was getting at is these anti vax RWNJs oppose even the flawed Obamacare. They refused the free vaccination, are likely uninsured of their own volition (paying for the SUV in the photo is more important), and have now racked up tens of thousands in unpaid hospital bills that they, the purveyors of personal responsibility, will be unable to pay. They are hypocrites.

(48,954 posts)I wonder who paid for these two no-account no responsibility no liability pseudo-libertarians' hospital bills, which are hellishly high if you linger and die in hospital.

(765 posts)Too bad about those two. I'm getting to the point now, where I see separate hospitals for vaccinated and the unvaccinated, in our future. A hospital, where parents of unvaccinated kids, have to stay in the hospital and help take care their child. Sadly, maybe watch their child die.

(4,029 posts)IMHO, unvaccinated people who need to go to a hospital because they were so damn stupid about not getting a Covid shot should be put in the back of the line behind all of those in need of any type if serious medical attention.

If we have another couple hundred thousand conservative anti-vaxxers drop dead, it could have a real impact.

(10,823 posts)How many is it going to take? I thought surely with children being infected and hospitalized, things would turn around. But I don't see any marked change in behavior. Maybe whole families need to die off in big numbers before the defiance-addicted get it:
Covid kills. And it's not a nice death. The virus doesn't give a damn about your point-of-view. Unvaccinated? You have a large target on your back. Your back, not mine or the millions of Americans who have been vaccinated.
Incredible!
