"He'd watch YouTube videos of Tucker Carlson," said Katie. "We think he was a victim of misinformation."

Patrick, a Boeing designer of more than 20 years, was not an "anti-vaxxer," according to Katie, but was waiting until the Food and Drug Administration gave the vaccines full approval before initiating the process.
"Every little girl dreams about her dad walking her down the aisle," said Katie. "Now, I wont get that. The Christmases, the grandchildren he wont get to meet... it really hurts."
They will find a way to blame Democrats. Look at the RWNJ that died of Covid and they are blaming the doctors because they wouldn't give ivermectin.
I say give them all the horse dewormer that they want.

Doesn't sound like the family was into Carlson like the dad. If you read the article it will explain the context.
The "what if's" are kind of sad though. One was "what if he had been vaccinated one day earlier" the answer to that is, It likely would have made no difference. One vaccination one day prior to exposure is not enough to protect you from a virus. The science shows some protection between 10 days after the first dose, but not full immunity. What is considered, maximum immunity would be achieved after about 10 to 14 days after a second dose of the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines. Not sure about the Johnson-Johnson vaccine since it is a single dose.
Goes to show how little people are actually paying attention to the real science on the issue.

(11,730 posts)Loss to right wing idiot propaganda. Then literal loss to a completely preventable illness because of said right wing idiocy.
I don't know how, but Right wing media must be stopped. It is destructive.
