Is a vaccine booster any different from the first 2 shots? It is just one more shot?

If so go into a place that giving out vaccinations and get your 3rd (first) shot/booster. I know of a couple that did this.

Are boosters right now any different from the first two shots of Moderna and Pfizer?

It's one more shot of the same for Pfizer. LisaL Sep 2021 #1

It is the same dose as far as I know for Pfizer so far anyway. With pfizer it was already determined that a longer period between the two doses caused a larger antibody reaction after the second shot. The 3rd shot boosters have been shown to produced more antibodies and to be more effective at preventing severe disease with delta.

So yes you could just go to get it. A few people here said they already have.
