Kerry as Attorney General?

He knows how these a$$holes role AND he knows
everything that's at stake. I would think he'd be serious
in going after some of this stuff, especially considering
his history.

Don't know why, but I woke up thinking that this morning.

He's getting old, he should just retire and enjoy the rest of his life.

The bad thing would be having his seat in play, which Scott Brown would probably win.

"He's getting old..."

Mitt Romney is 65. Hillary Clinton is 64. There are some people who want her to run for President in 2016.

He's got the world by the tail. Why not enjoy life after his current term expires?

Life is short.

And no I'm not comparing Kerry to these two but sometimes the elderly DO stay in positions they REALLY need to retire from -- like 20 years before they actually did (or just died in office).

calling for Kennedy to step down in 2006, or Byrd. I also do not remember him calling for Harkin to step down, or Sanders. So, why Kerry?

I am simply saying why would someone with Kerry's wealth and position in life want to stay in office until he or she dies? I wish Ted could have had a little time to kick back with Vicki and stroll the beaches of Hyannisport or sail his Mya.

Sorry friend, I've seen too many friends and relatives work until they literally dropped dead on the job without collecting a nickel of retirement money.

Life to too short. Get out and enjoy some of it while you still can.

Leave the "work until you die" baloney for republicans.

Deval Patrick is a more likely possibility, if we talk about somebody from MA.
