'I have a right to my self-determination!' MAGA rioter starts 'screaming' after judge sends her to

jail

Alleged MAGA rioter Pauline Bauer reportedly had a full-on public meltdown on Friday when a judge ordered that she be sent back to prison ahead of her trial.

NBC 4 Washington's Scott MacFarlane reports that Bauer, who has echoed the rhetoric of so-called "sovereign citizens" in previous court filings, had her pre-trial release revoked after federal prosecutors documented how she has refused to follow court orders during her release.

During the hearing, writes MacFarlane, Bauer regularly challenged the court's authority to hold her in any kind of custody, even though she denied being part of the sovereign citizen movement.

In her world its just fucking fine and dandy to drive on the wrong side of the road while everyone else follows the rules...that's basically what she is saying....just lock her ass up for good...

Not sure how this narrative got to stop the steal being about them. They went to DC and tried to steal my vote, your vote, and that of 81 mil who voted for Biden.

These punks crack me up. They live in a country where their party gets to rule after always losing the popular vote, live in a state where they get 2 Senators even though they represent far less people, and live in a country where the Supreme Court majority represents about a third of the country.

And they act like they are the ones who should be pissed. There should be millions in DC instead protesting to rebalance the Supreme Court and end the filibuster.

Bauer is representing herself, in part because the person she wanted as her lawyer isn't admitted to the bar, but there is an "advisory counsel" who Bauer won't recognize as her attorney nor will she even speak to her... And that lawyer is trying to advocate for her and her rights and interests nonetheless, even as Bauer files 100+ page nonsense motions and yells at the judge and refuses to commit to abiding by any pretrial release conditions. What a thankless task.

Sovereign citizens, of which Bauer is one, have read but not comprehended Article III, Section 2 of the Constitution, which sets out the original jurisdiction (cases the court has first dibs on) of the federal judiciary. Keep that word "federal" in mind, as it will come in handy.

This is what it says:

The judicial Power shall extend to all Cases, in Law and Equity, arising under this Constitution, the Laws of the United States, and Treaties made, or which shall be made, under their Authority; to all Cases affecting Ambassadors, other public Ministers and Consuls; to all Cases of admiralty and maritime Jurisdiction; to Controversies to which the United States shall be a Party; to Controversies between two or more States; between a State and Citizens of another State; between Citizens of different States; between Citizens of the same State claiming Lands under Grants of different States, and between a State, or the Citizens thereof, and foreign States, Citizens or Subjects.

Sovereign citizens have taken this to mean there are two levels of jurisdiction in US courts: "common law" jurisdiction, which basically says a SC can do whatever he or she wants, and Admiralty Maritime jurisdiction.

In the real world, the federal bench has jurisdiction over maritime cases because most of them are international law and the Town Court of Gloucester, Mass., is ill-equipped to deal with a prize case between an American pirate and a British shipowner.
