(989 posts)I loathe the hysteria that so often surrounds these missing persons cases that the media has decided are worthy of their attention.
Do these people believe the investigation will be boosted by their lame protests in front of Brian Laundrie's parents' home? If they are serious about finding Gabby, they should be calling the tip lines to provide helpful information to the authorities instead of seeking out news cameras at which they can wave their misspelled signs and shout into megaphones to get their 15 minutes of fame.

(791 posts)is what has piqued the interest of many. It is natural human behavior.
The person the woman was with showing up at his parents home with her vehicle but without her and presumed to be the last person to know of her whereabouts but unwilling to interact with law einforcement agencies, including the FBI, is focusing public interest in this story. It is it's unique circumstances that sets it apart from other missing person cases.
I think Laundrie may have a breakdown, make a confession, or evidence pointing to him may surface around the 3rd week of December.
