This is why it has gotten attention: this couple was traveling to and camping in National Parks all over the country. She went missing in The Grand Tetons in Wyoming and he drove her camper van back to Florida and hired a lawyer before saying a word about her being missing. He won’t to talk to police.

Also, they had a public fight in front of a convenience store in Utah in which the cops were called shortly before this all happened.

It is true that women who are Black, Native American, and other than white or poor are ignored by the media and by law enforcement when bad things happen to them. Much to their and our society’s shame.

And the cops took the guy to a motel. She talked to her mother a day or so after that, and that was it. Laundrie drove teh van, which was Gabby's, back to Florida.

Her mother hadn't talked to her for almost three weeks, well after Brian Laundrie returned home, with Gabby's van. Gabby also lived with the Laundries. They refused to talk to Gabby's parents.

She was obviously distraught and was getting hyped up and aggressive in her anxiety. I wonder if she killed herself or if he accidentally killed her as they argued, like, he pushed her away when she went to hit him and she fell back and hit her head on a rock. It's likely this boy has gone off to kill himself now. No matter what what went on or how it went down, this seems like a uniquely American tragedy.
