2. Alito and the SCOTUS fascists will over-rule

Alito’s already said that a law isn’t “unconstitutional” just because it discommodes a segment of the population -- and Gorsuch, Thomas, Handmaiden and McRapey agreed.

It will be interesting to see if the fascists stick to their guns when this is appealed.

(I know, I know, I shouldn’t call them “fascists” because “fascism” is a specific political movement! Well, actually, not necessarily. I use the term deliberately to call out the rather obvious authoritarian and discriminatory and plutocratic leanings of 5 members of SCOTUS. They represent the judicial manifestation of fascism to me. They aren’t ordering people to be truncheoned or stores to looted. They are, however, squeezing the living juices out of the constitution of the U.S. and replacing it with authoritarian ooze presented in the form of judicial opinions.)

(I can partially excuse the Handmaiden from the accusation of fascism because one suspects that her husband, not she, is the actual source of her opinions.)

3. We should really set aside some money to get all these folks ID

I bet it wouldn't cost but maybe $50million to get free ID's to all the people who need one.

Would be a drop in the bucket from a $1.5T or $3.5T bill.

Not only would this defeat all the Republicans voter suppression schemes, these folks could then use the ID in many other facets of their lives.
