RFK Jr. is a prime example of a liberal anti-vax dingbat.

"Overrun" is hyperbole, except when you are referring to weekend invasions of PBs deploying bear spray on pedestrians from the beds of their jacked-up pickups.

None of them are around right now, because it's hunting season. Got bears & elk to kill.

Only serves to discredit actual criticism of Ivermectin as a treatment for COVID. The drug is not "meant" for horses any more than it's "meant" for humans.

Some idiots seem to go for the actual horse paste but journalists who argue that Ivermectin=horse dewormer only expose their own ignorance.

And he certainly seems to be the darling of the right. He may have been progressive at some point, but he isn't now.

I had a friend who was a progressive activist in the 90s. Then he discovered Ron Paul. Now he's a racist shitbag who idolizes the John Birch Society.

I don't call him progressive anymore.

In 2002, he published The Reserve-Capacity Hypothesis, which proposed that the telomeric differences between humans and laboratory mice have led scientists to underestimate the risks that new drugs pose to humans in the form of heart disease, liver dysfunction, and related organ failure.

Apparently a member of what his brother termed "the Intellectual dark web"

The intellectual dark web (IDW) is a loosely-defined informal group of commentators who oppose what they regard as the dominance of identity politics, political correctness, and cancel culture in higher education and the news media within Western countries. Those who have been linked to the IDW have come from both the left and right of the political spectrum.

The term "intellectual dark web" was coined by Eric Weinstein. His term, which metaphorically compared opposition to mainstream opinion to what is illicitly found on the dark web, was not intended to be wholly serious. It was then popularized in a 2018 New York Times editorial by American opinion writer Bari Weiss.[1] Weiss and others applied the term to a broad range of figures from various parts of the political spectrum, including conservatives such as Douglas Murray, liberals such as Maajid Nawaz and Sam Harris, and feminists like Ayaan Hirsi Ali. It has also been linked to online publications such as the libertarian-leaning Quillette.
