Pandemic binge drinking

ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) -- Hospitals across the country are reporting a drastic spike in alcohol-related hospital admissions as binge drinking in the pandemic plays a pivotal role.

Hospitals across the are seeing between a 20% and 50% increase in hospital admissions for things like pancreatitis and alcohol hepatitis, as drinking cause inflammation to the liver ...

I'd heard about a significant increase in people binge drinking during the lockdown last year, but now that there aren't any official lockdowns anywhere (just self-imposed ones) I'm surprised this would continue.

Long-lasting bad habits formed during the lockdown?

Needing more alcohol to give a buzz and to prevent withdrawal.

Those who were already addicted last year are escalating.

There is going to be a long term mental health impact from the severe crisis caused by the GOP.

Btw, isn't liver disease a side effect of ivermectin?
