Motives of GOP lawmakers to urge vax-hesitancy? Worsening pandemic & economy & blame on Biden?

What do you think? Who really benefits from more people being infected, more people dying. more chaos, more Republican triggers like mask/vax mandates, and more damage to economy? Only one group of people - Republican lawmakers? Are they letting folks die to win in 22 and 24?

I bet they even brag about it among them selves. When this started it was only city people and Democrats who were getting sick. The republicans can’t get it through their heads that it’s their people that are dying now. General Patton said no son of a bitch ever won a war by dying for his country. I guess the same could be said of dying for your party

At least that's what they think.

1. They've seen how their base even booed Trump for saying people should get vaccinated.
2. They have already caused so much suffering and death that if they backtrack now, they've got nothing to gain. The ads will still write themselves about too little, too late.
3. They are followers, not leaders. They are either following Trump or they are following their base, and they're too chicken to go against either.

They want Biden to fail, even if it means a massive death toll among their own voters. Either they're hoping there will be enough left to unseat Biden or they're just too stupid to see the risk to their own constituency.

But now they’ve lost control and are too stupid and unwilling to change their stance because, you know, someone might think they are weak. They’ll continue down this path, desperately trying to shift the blame somehow. Back to what lady Lindsey said it 2016: if we elect trump it will be the end of the R party, and we’ll deserve it. I wonder if he ever remembers that?

The end goal for them is to win at any cost.

It’s like the Jan 6 attack—the more they pushed forward, the further they had to go.

They want Democrats to fail spectacularly. So yes, they will do anything it takes, without even planning a thing. They know what to do because they already do it to each other.

They loathe the thought of helping their fellow American, lest that American back stab them as they would most certainly do to them.

They have tied themselves to the crazy and don’t know if a way to bring it to an end.

A plan?

They now have to play only to their crazy base. They saw Trump get booed by supporting them getting vaccinated. That is all that drives them.
