15. Yes. Poor people. Apparently many of the Haitians have been at the border

for years even, waiting for some opportunity. A bunch of others apparently more recently made their way to the U.S. border starting in BRAZIL and making their way north. Wow. Determination. Strong people. Of course they're trying to evade being rounded up.

And also of course, RW resistance and fury over immigration is threatening our nation with a RW takeover. If we don't like seeing this at the border, just imagine how we'd feel about watching what happens in a police state. We wouldn't be coming here to complain, even if this forum was still allowed to exist; it'd be too dangerous.

I feel for these people; they're very welcome as far as my husband and I are concerned. But until we've stabilized our own nation, we have to be careful not to blow it up.

And under a white authoritarian government Haitians'd be very fortunate to be sent directly to Haiti. We've already seen tRump's admin snatching immigrants from their homes, as they drop their children off at school, etc, and sending them to detention centers in the desert until other nations agreed to take them. That time our courts stopped the atrocity before the numbers rose into the hundreds of thousands and detainees started dying by the thousands.
