How can we get rid of the filibuster with out the votes of Sinema and Manchin?

And Manchin will never be on board with that because he needs to block Joe B's infrastructure
plan because he works for the fossil fuel industry and much of Joe's infrastructure plan wants to
take America in a different direction as per our energy sources. And it looks like Sinema is bought
and paid for too. https://www.democraticunderground.com/10142802402

You either need a majority vote to change the Senate rules, or a majority vote to override the Parliamentarian's ruling on the rules.

FWIW - its extremely unlikely that only Sinema and Manchin would vote against dropping the filibuster. They're merely the public voices.

unsteady footing need to take to the airwaves and editorial pages to support the abolishment of the filibuster.

Talk about the history. Over and over. Do not mention the names of the two detractors. Bypass them directly to the voters.

Manchin has co-opted the airwaves. Every week for the past months article after article appears with his opinions.

how do we convince progressives to keep showing up for elections to make this happen even if we aren't able to eliminate the filibuster? I spend too much time online and here are some things that I'm seeing over and over again. Not saying all of these criticisms are necessarily invalid or wrong-headed, just pointing out that we are fighting against this on our end as much as Republicans.

1. "Democrats are not serious about nuking the filibuster for voting rights legislation and are basically hiding behind Manchin and Sinema (or Parliamentarian) so that they don't have to do any hard work on holding Trump accountable, advancing a progressive agenda, expanding the court, etc."
2. "Garland and Wray are ignoring 1/6, not holding Trump, et. al accountable for anything and/or "going easy" on them!"
3. "Why won't Biden/Democrats just do........x, y, z" as though everything has simple fixes no matter how complex they are.
4. "Why are Democrats allowing for Congressional vacations?!
5. "Why don't Democrats toughen up and fight Republicans harder (without any realistic prescriptive suggestions)?!"

If we don't figure out how to keep people "enthused (because I guess ensuring the future of the country isn't important enough)" and get them to the polls in next year's midterms, it's highly unlikely we will retain control, which, as many people have pointed out, would be bad for the country, democracy, etc.
