But I would be very surprised if the court completely threw out Roe v Wade.

I rather expect that they would continue to nibble away at it. It's a very potent issue to get the right-wing voters to the polls and if it's completely overturned, that would make it less important to keep those voters riled up.

We shall see.

I'm assuming they will not. Here's hoping I am right.

But I think it will be 5-4 to overturn Roe. Roberts will vote with the three - just so he can pretend to be a moderate guy. He will let the other ones do the heavy lifting for him.

Then Clarence and Amy will whine again about everybody saying that SCOTUS is too political.

It will say what they really want to say, but only apply to one or two narrow circumstances, so the lying right wing can say they let standing law stand. They are boiling the frog slowly, not killing him immediately by dumping him in water already at boiling temperature. If they do that, Biden will start on packing the Court the next day, and they know it. Even if he isn't successful, their stature would be diminished forever in this nation, and they know it.

He can't, he has no power to do it without 60 Senate votes that we don't have.

That's why they're out gaslighting us about not being political. They're practicing their excuses.
