Apparently, if a new investigation conducted by the Nation’s Greg Palast and The Investigative Fund at The Nation Institute is correct, Mitt “Let Detroit go bankrupt” Romney profited greatly from the auto bailout – specifically via the cash-infused resurrection of former GM subsidiary Delphi Automotive – through a blind trust held in the name of Ann Romney.

There is quite a paper trail to follow, of course, but the result seems to be that one of the Delphi hedge funds profiting from that bailout — $1.29 billion so far — is Elliott Management, directed by Paul Singer, who manages a large amount of money for the Romneys — at least $1 million, according to federal disclosures for Ann Romney’s blind trust.

Now we know why he will not reveal his tax returns. He seems to think that we will all believe that ann simply found this money in the cookie jar. The republican candidate wants us to just stay in our holes eating cheesy poofs until we simply become his slaves.
