the asshole on the other end trying to sell me a screened in porch. I don't do surveys
because you have no idea who you are talking to and what they represent.

(82,849 posts)One of my ongoing personal peeves with polls and surveys is the imprecision or inelegance of the questions. "Do you approve of President Biden's foreign policy?" What part of it? I generally support President Biden, but I don't like that he's continuing the program of drone strikes. The question doesn't permit any such nuance, because it's too vague and general. I feel like any answer I give is not going to be an accurate reflection of any usable data point.
