“Morning Edition”. And on WNYC.org there are further excellent news and public affairs programs like the Brian Lehrer Show. Local news on the hour on my local NPR station. Long form news, features. Vastly superior to cable news in my opinion.

interviewer, but as the years have gone by, I now neither know who most of her interviewees are, nor care about them. But I give her credit for keeping up, although I don’t care to.

also find BBC World News to be very good. Both BTW much better IMO than CBC Radio (which has some good programming but also a lot of repetitious banality).

9. BBC is on my local NPR station from midnight to 5AM. I agree it's

excellent. I also have the BBC app on my phone.

Stopped listening to NPR the day I hear “Funded in part by Koch industries”.

I pretty much listen to AM 950 here in Minneapolis.

You can listen through Tune in radio or on their website.
