It doesn't seem to be very effective.
I'm not sure it describes what happened?
It was more than a "Big Lie". It was seditious and treasonous.
It would be hard to find a Republican anywhere who would say, "Yes, we were lied to. We were deceived. It was all a Big Lie. We were manipulated and used by the Party." They simply cannot admit what happened. It is political denial of the highest order.

I choose THAT.
Trump led an insurrection, and not just on January 6th.

The term does not encompass the entirety of what TFG and his enablers have done to try to undermine and steal the election. That is a separate though related phenomenon which can accurately be described as sedition.
It's called the "Big Lie" because it's exactly the same strategy that the Nazis employed, which was described by the same term. It's appropriate and accurate.
