FBI agents searched Brian Laundries Florida home on Monday as part of the ongoing investigation into his fiancée Gabby Petitos death and Laundries disappearance.
According to ABC7, authorities taped off the perimeter of the home and escorted Laundries parents outside before they allowed them to re-enter about 10 minutes later. About four and a half hours later, authorities left the premises with multiple boxes of evidence and towed away Laundries silver mustang, which had been sitting in the driveway. Laundries mother was seen getting into a police vehicle as officers left the scene.
Laundrie was declared person of interest after Petitos parents reported her missing to police on Sept. 11. The couple embarked on a four-month road trip in July, driving to national parks across the country in a white van. They were documenting their travels on social media until late August, when Petito dropped off communication. Her last reported dispatch came on Aug. 30 when she texted her mother that there was no cell service in Yellowstone National Park. Not long after, Laundrie returned to his Florida home without Petito.

Laundrie so far has not cooperated with law enforcements investigation, and his parents said they havent seen him for days. Police conducted a search of a 24,000-acre Florida nature preserve over the weekend after Laundries parents told police he might have gone there, but they were unable to locate him. Steven P. Bertolino, a lawyer for the family, told the press that his client wasnt talking to investigators because intimate partners are often the first person law enforcement focuses their attention on in cases like this.

I wonder if the parents told investigators to look into the Florida nature preserve to throw them off track and give their precious son a head start in the opposite direction?

(4,575 posts)and given his vast expertise I tend to agree with him. Laundrie is probably in South America by now. Also someone needs to answer why those local cops weren't watching him.

(7,286 posts)There is a deer trail cam footage from Baker Florida that shows a man resembling him captured on film at 6:17 am
They story states they were searching an area where his Mustang car was found, which seems to contradict the above link ( Mustang towed)
Unless he had 2 Mustangs

(4,170 posts)That makes no sense to me. Would he have had the keys on him? Did they leave them under the seat with the doors unlocked? How would he know it was even there?
That story makes no sense whatsoever.
