Itm, so far we've fired a couple of new doctors who prescribed very expensive medications when affordable ones that'd probably work fine were available. It's not like we didn't instruct them to put it on the file where they could see it. Of course they didn't miss us, but we didn't miss them either.

(46,553 posts)Big pharma then pretends it pays for all the research itself and uses it as justification to price their drugs high.
The reality is they are making an enormous profit while they are subsidized by you and me.
So the taxpayer gets gouged twice.
Last year I was prescribed a drug that cost $1500 a month at CVS.
With Good RX, I got the price down to $750.
It is a one of kind drug, no substitute and I had to take it for a troublesome GI problem.
After a couple of months the gal at CVS tells me to try Kroger's pharmacy, she says they practically give away their drugs.
I check at Krogers, and with Good RX the same damn drug is $79 a month.
I about fell over.

We can clean up the pharmaceutical issues as soon as the public wants it done enough to empower Democrats to do it and to clean the giant corruption out their own party. It's not like we don't know of a number of paths that've worked well for our and other nations with different tradeoffs.

(58,785 posts)government by what very different people, in and out of government, are doing. I'm not proud, though, that sensible people have not been controling the kind of minority who cause serious problems wherever they get enough power. Ffwiw, we've never been in a position where foreign enemies can mindfuck millions of people while they think they're just relaxing.
