(3,227 posts)I think yes, you'd be considered eligible. I heard that the Pfizer vax, because it's fully approved, can be prescribed "off-label,' so your own doctor could just deem you eligible, no problem.
I'm not sure how you prove that on your own to the pharmacy if you're not over 65, but your doctor could just write you an RX and the pharmacist can give you the shot.

(3,227 posts)Which is one of the big risk factors.
Did you have any side effects this time? My arm hurt worse than before, that was it.
Like after the 2nd Pfizer. Arm pain began 11 hrs after the booster, and I felt tired and headachy the day after (Day 2). But, by Day 3, I felt wonderful!

(24,745 posts)I'm 61 but suffer from diabetes and obesity, along with high bp. I qualified in the priority groups during the first vaccine rollouts. Question is, do I qualify for a booster?

(21,676 posts)I am 64, diabetic, obese, and have heart disease and high BP. Had a quadruple bypass just before the pandemic hit. Plus, I had Moderna, and I'm not sure Moderna has been approved for a booster yet. I got my flu shot last Friday, so I have to wait a few more weeks because of the flu shot.
