This world that is all bad news for me and other Dems who see so much being blocked or blown apart by the Trumplicans, and the BS now with the non vaxxed. I am home now with long haul, my granddaughter has C19 from school ( yes we are all vaxxed but she is too young ). I don't recognize this country anymore and the one place I can get hope or positivity is here. Cause I am not in the health or frame of mind to see it myself.

2. I sometimes feel the same way

I look back when I was young and JFK, Bobby Kennedy n MLK were murdered n Viet Nam taking kids blind in one eye n couldn’t see out of the other.. coming home in body bags. I thought it was the end of the world. That was the lowest point in my life for this country until TFG came n damn nearly buried us. Other events weren’t all that great but these two are my lowest points. But.. slowly n surely .. too slowly but we somehow find our way. I try to take one day/thing at a time. Breathe deeply n be thankful for all I have n all I don’t have.. keeps me humble! Take good care of your family n it is safe to say we’ll find our way thru this mess, too. Stay well, my du Friend

I gets overwhelming at times. I'm in the same boat so I don't have any words of wisdom. Talking to a counselor is helping me but I still have bad days. Just try to hang in there. I hope your granddaughter feels better soon.
