Fox News is a TERRORIST ORGANIZATION
On the very day when Pfizer came out with good news about the vaccine that it looks to be safe and effective
in preventing the bad cases of the disease and deaths from the delta mutation of the covid virus in children Fox
News' Laura Ingraham had on disgraced heard immunity proponent and Trump pandemic advisor Dr. Scott Atlas
saying that kids really don't need the vaccine and beside not that many have died.
Fox News is a terrorist organization and they along w/Governors Noem, Tate, Abbot, DeSantis and other
GOP congresspersons are actively working to spread the virus. That fact can't be denied but my only
question is why?
************
Fox News is now actively evangelizing against vaccinating children for COVID-19, following an announcement from Pfizer that the company would be submitting data to regulatory agencies on its study that it said showed a favorable safety profile and robust neutralizing antibody responses in children ages 5 to 11.
Just to be clear, The Washington Post points out that the data must still be analyzed by unbiased experts, and the study was small enough that certain rare side effects might show up only in monitoring as the vaccine actually gets administered in greater numbers. Nevertheless, it is a hopeful sign for health care workers, as pediatric cases have increased from the delta variant with 1.1 million cases over the past five weeks leaving childrens hospitals and intensive care units overwhelmed in states that already had low vaccination rates.
Notably, the increase in childrens cases has affected children with no other preexisting conditions, and doctors have also worried about the potential effects of long COVID-19 in children. But that was not the message on Fox News a network that is notorious for propagandizing against the vaccines and celebrating vaccine refusal, even as it has instituted strict vaccination and testing requirements for its own offices.

Fox host Laura Ingraham, who previously insisted that vaccinating children was a non-starter for most parents and disgusting, spoke with Hoover Institution fellow Dr. Scott Atlas, a radiologist who previously advised then-President Donald Trump to let the virus spread in order to achieve herd immunity.
The segment also featured a chyron throughout: Profits over kids safety.

(24,406 posts)It's great younger children will soon be able to get vaxxed. Unfortunately, those with fervently anti-vaxx parents probably won't let them. Some schools could mandate it of course, but Abbott and DeathSantis and other GOP governors will make sure they can't in their states.

(24,406 posts)but somehow requiring COVID vaccines would be "different" somehow according to DeathSantis, Abbott, or Tate and nobody will ever follow up to ask them how.

BTW all of Dr. Atlas' former colleagues @ Standford Med School and Hospital disavowed any connection

(100,063 posts)They are getting people killed at an alarming rate because they choose to believe the bullshit over actual science. It's completely disturbing. And someone needs to be held accountable for this.

BTW I think Russia is all over the C-19 misinformation and I think they are deep into Fox News too.

(100,063 posts)Attempting to weaponize misinformation and that the vaccine disinformation originated from... wait for it... Moscow! I have no doubts this is Putin's doing and the attempt to sow disinformation among vaccines was their way of testing the waters. Of course no one could have predicted that we'd be in a raging pandemic 10 years ago.
