Who would always help when help was needed.
Some people will remember him for his work on Hawaii Five-0, some people remember him for his work as a teacher and coach at Punahou, or an entertainer. I remember Al as a greatDemocrat, a man with a huge heart for Hawaii and I am feeling very sad and very privileged to have volunteered with him for many campaigns.
Aloha, aloha, aloha nō Al. I will always see you on the corner of Oahu and Manoa road holding sign and throwing Shaka for Senator Akaka and Barack Obama. Tell Uncle Joe, Michele, George Simpson and Senator I said hey. A hui hou.

God bless and keep him in his light. Poor Rosa. 💧💧I havent seen him in years, thought he would never get old. He was larger than life but so down to earth and humble and worked his tail off foe our good guys.
He preferred to wave sign in the morning, very early start, never pau till rush hour was over. He and Uncle Joe were an unstoppable duo, would put a smile on your face even if you werent voting for their guy. This just makes me so very sad.
