HONOLULU — A man who helped organize a Hawaii group that opposes COVID-19 vaccines and mandates says he contracted the disease and now has regrets.

Chris Wikoff told Hawaii News Now this week that he helped start the Aloha Freedom Coalition last October. He said he believed government shutdowns and mandates were threatening liberties and harming businesses ...

... he and his wife contracted COVID-19 ...

Wikoff is now considering getting vaccinated ...

... He is now warning people to not attend large protests like the ones the group staged in front of Hawaii Lt. Gov. Josh Green's home ...

God, I hate stupid people. Eugenics is a repellent concept. But if people volunteer to remove their defective DNA from the human gene pool, I wouldn't stop them, except they're likely to take innocent people with them.

No way can he rein it in now. People see him as a sell-out.
The anti-vaxxers here in Hawaii are off the charts crazy and helping each other with 'religious exemption' nonsense. It seems the same group of whack-a-doodle locals that fire up and oppose everything here. It is getting really hard to deal with.

and only because maybe he will now get vaccinated and convince a few more people to do so also, which might mean they will then not infect someone who is ineligible to be vaccinated.
