TFG's weapon of mass terror: "I may run again in 2024."

Okay, let's all live in fear that the orange prick will again be the president. Let's live our lives worrying that he will come to power and, once again, fuck up the world. Let's spend the next three years of our lives in dread. Well, here are a couple of facts.

Fact 1: It is a total impossibility for him to be elected president. Fact 2: Within the next three years, the Republicans may have corrupted our electoral system enough so that they can just appoint him to the presidency.

Let me state that more clearly. TFG is not the threat to democracy. The Republican/Fascist/Nazi Party is.

Right now, the Democrats are in power and seemingly have the power to prevent the Republicans from totally subverting American elections. And the big BUT is that a couple of senators are preventing an end to the filibuster, and therefore, a way to put a stop to the insane election laws being passed in far too many states.

Two senators, Manchin and Sinema, have decided to fuck us all. (And yeah, there are a couple of others hiding behind their open obstruction.) So what do we do about it?

(This is the answer I have posted here previously.) The entire power of the presidency and the Democratic Party must be brought to bear on them to back them into a corner and make them fall in line. They must be threatened with anything and everything that can make them tremble. Everyone has things they don't want made public. Does anyone think that Manchin and Sinema are so pure as to have nothing to hide?

So here's the bottom line. It's just a matter of willingness on the part of Biden and every other Dem to use the power they have (while they still have it). They either use it or lose it. It ain't deep, it ain't hard to figure out, and it will work.

I may be pissing into the wind here, but the Dems must act now. The clock is running and all that's needed is for them to do what must be done. It's really that simple.

1. A solid 45% of Americans will vote for him again over Biden or scary Black Feminist Harris - that's his baseline. He doesn't need a majority - just the EC.

2. GQP Propaganda will be a relentless Gish Gallop of lies designed to destroy facts and trust in Democrats.

15. The Republican Party will do anything to keep him out of power

They don't love him. They hate and fear him.

Their activities won't be out in the open, but they really want him to just go the fuck away. Somehow, someway, they'll use their entire propaganda machinery to help ensure that the street thugs who worship him look elsewhere for their "fuhrer."

7. For one thing, the mid terms are going to be a disaster for the GOP.

Obstructing the economic stimulus funding, voter and abortion suppression laws are going to drive, not just Democrats out to vote, but independents as well.

These are people who will literally put out hit contracts on anyone they consider likely to out do them. And, hopefully, the '24 campaign, without TFG around, will totally destroy the disease called the Republican Party.

11. The real threat to democracy is the Rupert Murdochs and the Alex Joneses.

The people who are weaponizing the news and information highway against us and turning the fearmongering way past 11. This is what is going to start the next civil war. It's not the politician or the politicians. It's the information and propaganda network that will do it. And right now they are succeeding.

If the orange prick were to be hit by lightening, any civil war that occurred would be fought by different factions of the crazies, each backing their own new "Beloved Leader," and each faction fighting for superiority over the other factions.

But for now, I'm sticking with my OP. At this moment, the Dems are holding the power. All they have to do is use it.

14. The propaganda machine existed long before TFG and will exist after.

TFG would not have been elected without the help of the RWNJ propaganda machine. Yes, he might be the glue that holds it together. But the thing is the MAGA movement is dying the very slow and painful death that it deserves. When it finally kicks the bucket they will get someone new to tell them what they want to hear.

Honestly TFG doesn't scare me anymore. What does scare me is the prospect of someone who's younger and more charismatic than TFG who says exactly the things that the MAGA crowd wants to hear rising through the ranks and could have more longevity and staying power in the White House. Because while TFG didn't declare himself dictator for life, that person very well could, and they could stay for as long as they feel like it - think someone like Josh Hawley. And that person will do the bidding of the Murdochs and the Joneses and the white supremacists. That's what scares the crap out of me.

TFG may be the tie that binds right now, but he's replaceable. The movement is not.
