Everything is riding on Monday Night.

The outcome of this debate will likely determine who our next POTUS will be. Amazing that it has come to this, but if you think surges are significant, the debate momentum favors President Obama. His performances have become better, while Romney's have worsened.

We have every reason to be optimistic!

President Obama did a knockout on Romney during the second debate and I think people have made up their minds. Undecideds are big lying phonies.

As a matter of fact, I wouldn't be at all surprised if it draws a relatively-small audience. Foreign policy simply isn't that important to most voters.

I doubt that the undecideds will base their vote on one performance (esp one on foreign policy)

I still dont trust an undecided voter at this point.

You nailed it.

The third debate is important. But that doesn't mean that "everything comes down to it."

It could end any chance of a "close" contest result.

I did respond to your OP on what the President might do to encourage Mitt's falling apart at the seams during the debate. And I believe that President Obama will nail him on Monday. I'm fully confident of that.

But whether other Dems are dragged along on his coattails might be influenced. I have confidence that he knows how to handle Bullshit Mitt at this point. He'll be fine.

Why? Because Republicans think that they're the tough bullies in foreign policy. Romney will have to thump his chest and threaten
a few countries, while calling Obama a pussy for not blowing more things up.

In my view, the first Debate is about 65% of debate effects, the second debate maybe 25% and the third debate 10% tops.

And foreign policy is not a big deal in this campaign.

If a voter hasn't already decided for whom they will vote I seriously doubt a debate will help them make up their mind. Just give them a fricking coin and send them into the voting booth.

I think I saw that on some old sit-com way back in the 60's or 70's when we only had three channels on TV. I think it might have been the character Andy Taylor in the voting booth flipping the coin.

21. It's a different game.

If it were another debate on domestic/economic policy, it might be. But even with the Benghazi crap, I don't see how Romney can possibly mount a serious challenge to Obama in debating foreign policy. Obama SHOULD hold all the cards.

I admit I'm still worried though. Obama needs to knock this one out of the park, if only because everyone thinks that he should considering the topic AND his performance in the second debate, which has raised expectations.

Monday night isn't going to matter much.
People know who they are voting for..
The foreign policy debate will be the least watched.

Most of the hype is just Corporatia trying to sell adverts on its propaganda channels.
