Even McConnell was for this one. I guess it's probably a game to them-- they see Dems aren't unified and don't want to make it any easier for us.

and they need achievement to claim and benefits to their district. No one wants to be identified with the initial break in the dam; but when it's breached and others pouring through, that's different.

so they are short the votes necessary for passage.

And as Nancy Pelosi can certainly count, unless the situation changes she won't be bring the bill up for a vote on the 27th or 28th.

40+ members of the CPC will vote no on the bipartisan bill if it comes to the floor before the reconciliation bill, so I doubt Pelosi will bring it to the floor under those circumstances.
