Safety on the subway is always top of mind, and now its not just about protecting passengers from crime but from COVID.
To halt unnecessary health risks and keep precautions on track, the MTA is urgently warning refusing to cover your face will cost you $50.

Most. Maybe. But fake vaccine cards are $50 so costs don't seem to bother assholes.

Getting thrown off planes doesnt seem a problem either.
Im not dissing the idea at all. At least someone is trying to do something.
Of course, I live in a place where enforcement is real and a fine is more like $400, or you can lose the plates on your car.
