(111,094 posts)They are a fraud.
They do not have the right to try and change the official count with the manner in which they operated.
In my opinion, they were illegitimate from the beginning.

(50,557 posts)but you have to admit, after the Republicans in the Arizona Senate robbed the citizens of their state of millions to pay for quite possibly the worst-run audit in the history of accounting, in order to prove Trump really won the state, seeing Trump actually going backwards in the final count is truly delicious.

(11,017 posts)I think it was only a couple hundred thousand - most of the cost was covered by donations they scammed from MAGATs. But I DO think that the state is on the hook for the voting machines that the Ninjas fucked up - and that's probably several million.

(16,187 posts)didnt they? Original tally stands. They are not a legitimate auditor.

(7,403 posts)The one figure that should be an exact match and is the total number of ballots cast. This report is saying that the hand recount overcounted total ballots by nearly 1,000. Logically, every tally should have been lower then with 2 exceptions and 1 would be different standards for clear intent. For instance, are there overvotes where someone, for instance, marked for Biden and then wrote in for Biden. One standard could say ignore all overvotes while another could say go by clear intent. That could explain some of the difference in total write-in ballots cast. The other is that the audit shows nothing on provisional ballots and that seems rather strange. Think of the implications on elections like Florida in 2000. It would also be interesting to know what the results were from the initial machine tally.
We need to see the detail but the differences look to me to be much greater than they should be, casting a shadow on the election procedures, including the counting of ballots. While this is the largest county in Arizona is it even half of the votes cast statewide? The shiny object is the net pick up for Biden. Do not be distracted by shiny objects.

(16,392 posts)Not because I'm pessimistic (if anything, I'm a cockeyed optimist about most things). I'm just suspicious about this, because that report just seems too good to be true, so much so that it feels like it could turn out to be some kind of awful joke.
I'll be thrilled to be proven wrong, but for now, this is just a rumor that might or might not be true, afaic.
