On Lawrence O'Donnell's show, Adam Schiff said some testimony would be for "public view" and...

...some would not.

Would the testimony of Mark Meadows, and the others that were subpoenaed today, be for "public viewing"?

In my opinion, it should. The people should see exactly where each side is coming from?

Donald Trump has already sent the witnesses a message. He said they would fight every one as a violation of "executive privilege" and other reasons.

It now appears that Merrick Garland will have no other option but to get involved? That's the way it looks to me. Can he get his FBI to pressure these witnesses to come forth?

If Meadows and the others refuse to testify, or take the 5th, they should be televised.

If Donald Trump is involved, the courts will be involved.

Just my opinion.

I hope to be wrong.

I don't see them testifying nor suffering any consequences for refusing to do so.

They may not even have to take the 5th. They just won't show up and simply say they have more important stuff to do.

Or claimed "executive privilege", in an attempt to delay and obstruct, by using the court system?

When something different happens, I'll be here to cheer.

I just know that their playbook has worked many times before, and will work again. Some people manage to stay above the law. Not you or I, of course. But whether by not appearing, and/or by claiming executive privilege, they will get away with it. They won't be held accountable.

And we'll be hear fuming and complaining about it months from now, while they're at a 5 star restaurant laughing about their good fortune.

will be the first to face the music. Bannon cannot pull the Executive Privilege card. It does not apply.
The Committee has signaled that it is dead serious - it has gone for the big boys first only the Slobfather is above these four.

Will work great for winning elections, too.
