Actually, I don't think he believes that. Instead, as you noted, he's making money and is relying on the naivete of the public who think he's actually giving useful "advice" to the Committee to help him do that.

They'll be playing for the Fox camera. Your task isn't simply to investigate but to humiliate.
5/ Keep in mind the power of spectacle, which is too often underappreciated in politics. Keep in mind that the Trump acolytes and anal leeches will plan and execute this same outrage, at scale.

These are enemies of the American people and should treated as such.

19. I suspect that the committee members are well aware of this.

I also think the private testimony is their idea, rather than that of these criminals. It keeps them from turning the whole thing into a clown show, and we all know they will do that, if given the opportunity. It also prevents them from getting more of their lies out into the public. Hopefully, they will still record it for possible airing later on. Considering who is on that committee, I think they can handle these four assholes.

It's good that Rick Wilson is pointing this stuff out, regardless. It is really aimed more at the people who need to hear it, and that's the rest of us.

I heard Schiff on O'Donnell last night say they are not going to put up with their shit this time.

Dems have a rep of bringing a knife to a gunfight, of playing by rules that Rs have no loyalty to. Yes, it's obvious - it was also obvious 40 years ago who TFG is.
