The amt that's deducted from SS? If that goes up anymore it will really cut into the net SS direct deposits people get each month. Although I guess it would be optional to people if it gets through?

I guess this confirms I'm warped, because when I read that my first thought was "Thank you, sir/madam -- may I have another?"

After actually reading the article at the link... Pretty sad when you're a Democrat whose greatest admirers are Republicans who appreciate your ability to hamstring your own party.

On second thought, I guess my snap interpretation of "S&M thank you notes" wasn't far off -- maybe more like, "Thank you for keeping up the punishment."
