Why is the DNC in Debt ?? Wasn't September A blockBuster Fundarasing Month For Dems

Obama has tons of money on hand but the DNC took out a loan while the RNC has over $46mill on hand

Please dont come calling me that concern troll BS . I am wondering because I thought September was a good month and it's imperative we have more than enough cash on hand for congressional races in our quest to take back the house

4. The Obama campaign is not the DNC... or the Dem Congressional fund

This has been a pattern all year. Obama doing well, vis-a-vis Romney, but the RW doing better broadly.

cant the RNC channel resources to help romney .and I guess it makes it even more hard to retake the house with them having the cash advantage

I imagine that the billionaires are mostly running pro-Romney. He's their kind.

6. I Think It's Pretty Damn Smart for The Dems To Take Out The Loan

As people get more motivated over the next two weeks, they will contribute more and more but by that point, it will be TOO LATE to effectively use that money.

By taking out the loan sooner, they can be smarter and in more control with how they are using their money. The new donations can be collected to pay off the loan.

Have you heard of Citizens United? There's a huge deficit between what we have and they have.

11. Its common for campaigns to borrow against future fundraising

The campaign can continue to raise money through and after election day. It needs to spend before. Ipso facto, you borrow. I guarantee both campaigns are doing it.

In other words, they are not borrowing because they are "in debt". They are "in debt" because they've borrowed money that they expect to spend and then will pay back with future fundraising dollars.
