She stands miles above many.
Hillary looks good, healthy & happy.
Love your works & love to you, m'am.

(9,073 posts)Clinton is being recognized for her role in helping shape the reconciliation process in Ireland.
Two decades after the Good Friday Agreements, it is now becoming more and more common thought that Northern Ireland will not exist for much longer. Catholics are beginning to outnumber Protestants, the Unionists are flailing, and the country is far more secular than it was.
Pretty interesting OP-Ed about it:

1st Woman Chancellor Hillary Clinton is our honoree in this tribute OP.
And a well earned tribute to a brilliant scholar & humanitarian throughout her lifetime.
Bravo Chancellor Hillary

(9,073 posts)She's being honored for her part in the reconciliation process, and I was just noting the current results of her efforts. They're not a bad thing.
NYT paywall is very, very simple to work past. I don't have a subscription and read it just fine.

I'm just so glad someone appreciates her, in spite of the many idiots here who don't.
Now I must see if I can find the Ninjas who are chopping onions.

(14,888 posts)That is such a great photo up top!
She looks happy, and so relaxed!
When I looked again she (imho) sort of looked like an older
version of Téa Leoni who played Elizabeth McCord the Secretary of State in Madame Secretary. (Tea has a more oval face, I think)
Some of you might remember that alot of people thought that the character was partly based on Hillary.
(I believe some people grumbled about that)
