Had a conversation with a relative this morning and

she and her husband are in Gary Johnson's Libertarian camp this election. Their issues are gun ownership (for some reason I can't fathom, they think Dems are infringing on their Second Amendment rights) and ACA. The last one gets me because they have a special needs child. Both are veterans. I haven't the energy to get into it intensely with her today. We've just had too much going on. Some days nothing wants to work and everything breaks.

A vote for Johnson is one less vote for Robme. Since you won't get her to vote for the President, I would encourage her to vote for Johnson.

I have some more time to work with. It was just disheartening though.

and she's not as against the ACA as she wants people to believe (especially her husband). Voting for that Johnson guy is her way of saving face without actually risking anything important.

Whatever -- just be glad she's not voting for Romney.

are voting. And have put some thought into it. They aren't making the choice we think that they should, but at least they aren't voting for Romney.
