I have heard several of the MAGAban goons state that they were invited to Capitol Hill by the Slobfather.
My question is - how can someone in a separate branch of government invite his goons or anyone else to the property of another branch of government.
For that alone he should be locked up

(17,912 posts)It's a dodge and a poor one at that. The workings of lesser minds. But, when that's all they've got, I guess that's all they've got.

For example, Members of Congress can tell people to go over to the White House or the Supreme Court to protest.
Trump committed lots of crimes that day, in my view. But telling people to go to the property of another branch of government is not one of them.

(18,486 posts)You claimed that he should be "locked up" simply because he was in one branch of government and invited people onto the another branch of government." I'm simply telling you that that alone is not a crime. Responding with "that's not what he did" is a weird dodge, especially when that's exactly what you claimed he did to warrant being locked up - in fact, that premise was the entire point of your OP.
Telling people to go to the property of another branch of government is not grounds alone to lock someone up.
