Ken Burns on Anderson Cooper tonight: will talk about his new Mohammed Ali doc and
what the US is going through right now. AC 360 CNN 8PM EST
He brought up the Lincoln quote on survival of the United States: "SNIP...... In the Lyceum address Lincoln said, "At what point then is the approach of danger to be expected? I answer, if it ever reach us, it must spring up amongst us. It cannot come from abroad. If destruction be our lot, we must ourselves be its author and finisher. As a nation of freemen, we must live through all time, or die by suicide." .....SNIP" https://mobile.reuters.com/article/amp/idUSKBN29V2HH

2. I grew up on fake wrestling. I only watch boxing movies. I can't watch
much real fighting. Is there much in his Ali documentary?

3. Not as much in the first part
as in the second part. If you have a DVR just record it and fast forward through it. You can't tell the story of Muhmmed Ali without showing actual boxing footage, because he did more than box in the ring. In part 2,he fights Earnie Terrell, who had taunted him by continuing to call him Cassius Clay to his face during press conferences. Ali not only beat the living shit out of him, but he screamed "WHAT'S MY NAME!" the whole time he did it. It was devastating. I understand it can be hard to watch. It's hard for me to watch, too. But I recommend it.
