(39,343 posts)A DEM atty said that both sides were preparing to flood the area with lawyers starting during Early Voting and running through Election Week. We are trying to anticipate and counter their dirty tricks.
It's looking like 2000 all over again. It might come down to FL. If Obama wins FL it's over. If R$ wants to win he has to at least take FL and others.

(44,173 posts)But if their pollsters want to fuck around with the averages, then our pollsters can flood the RCP/TPM/Silver averages with our data too.

(5,256 posts)Scotty Razz and Gravis are Gooper pollsters. Gallup is effectively a right-wing propaganda outfit now. So why shouldn't this firm be taken seriously?

(3,526 posts)Lisa Grove created Grove Insight because she was tired of seeing progressive candidates and causes stuck with outdated research methods, unintelligible reports and a one-size-fits-all approach to polling. In her view, there was simply too much at stake.
Strategic. Innovative. Successful.
We see our job as so much more than reporting on the status quo it is finding a path that achieves your desired outcome. We use state-of-the-art techniques to learn about and understand an audience, and innovative research methods that lead to persuasive messages that resonate. Grove Insights work has helped make the difference between winning and losing including an unmatched 84-and-10 record on ballot measure campaigns.
Info on Lisa Grove.............
Founder and Principal
Lisa Grove has been the lead strategist and pollster for political candidates, nonprofit organizations, corporations and labor unions for over 20 years. She has a reputation for providing rock-solid research, unique insight (hence the company name), and successful messaging, communications and outreach plans. She is known for fretting the details while never losing sight of the big picture. And she almost always wins.
All told, Lisa has conducted polls and moderated hundreds of focus groups and dial test sessions for Senatorial, Congressional, Gubernatorial and Presidential candidates (including one of her proudest moments, consulting on Cesar Gaviria's successful bid for the Presidency of Colombia in 1990). Advertising agencies, P.R. firms, and Fortune 500 companies have also relied on Grove Insights research to develop corporate image campaigns in the United States, Asia and Latin America.
A seasoned public speaker, Lisa has briefed heads of state, U.S. Senators, Hollywood types and the countrys leading policymakers on a wide variety of issues. She has been quoted in publications ranging from the Wall Street Journal to Mother Jones, Oregon's Bend Bulletin to the Washington Post. She has also been a guest lecturer at the Graduate School of Political Management, American University, George Washington University, University of Portland and Carleton College.
Prior to starting her own company, Lisa was Vice President at the Washington, D.C.-based Mellman Group for nine years. Before that, she was a Research Associate at Hill and Knowlton's Research subsidiary, Strategic Information Research Corporation and Belden Opinion Research. A native of the Pacific Northwest, Lisa graduated from Lewis & Clark College in 1984 with degrees in communications and international affairs.
Ever committed to putting her progressive values into action, in 2007, Lisa added a division to Grove Insight devoted to environmental/green market research Green Insight.
While mountain biking continues to be her passion, its family life that really gets her going. Lisa spends every possible non-work minute with husband Stephen, young son Max, and dogs Dexter Marie and Mike, in their Lake Oswego home that backs onto a state park, or at the Grove Insight satellite office a 1935 house on the beautiful island of Lanai. She loves being a mom and is actively involved with Max's school.
