The audit company needs to be sued for the replacement costs and some for their allowing them to be compromised. The more they are held accountable, and liable , the better, or they will get worse. Where's the DOJ? I thought election fraud, and conspiring to commit it was a crime.

We don't need new laws to stop the Cyber Ninjas, we need to enforce existing laws.

(31,811 posts)Their Legislature and Governor allowed this, their budget will replace them. We shouldn't allow the state government off the hook. Buck stops with them.
Now in Texas - the four counties the *audit* will take place? The fix is in. This is a way to ensure there are even FEWER voting machines for their Gubernatorial race.

We don't have A VRA anymore.
We don't have a Senate willing to torpedo the filibuster for a straight vote on Voting Rights.
The only thing that makes me happy about this is knowing that Sinema will be a one term Senator.
The people who put her in office (Latino and Indigenous turn out) won't be allowed to vote. Her arrogance is a self inflicted political wound. Manchin voters don't care as long as they can mine coal.

(31,811 posts)I voted for the SALT cap to be put back where it was for 100 years prior to the GOP tax scam, an end to PUNITIVE tariffs on parts and components US manufacturers and assemblers buy from abroad, and SCOTUS appointments.
Garland will not behave as 45's AGs behaved. His job is not political. He appointed Kristin Clark for a reason. She's only been there a few months.
Without a VRA - there are no laws to protect the Franchise. I've lost patience - get rid of the filibuster entirely. There is one way to stop the opposition . . . Voting Rights. They (Manchin and Sinema) are using a Jim Crow "tradition" to inflict Jim Crow disenfrasement.
IDGAF about Wray. That fucking guy won't be there in a year.

(6,818 posts)Well, duforsure, out there in cyberland, those are terrible things that nice people don't do for sure. But in our "more perfect union" those, like some "rules", do not apply when minorities try to vote along side other citizens without the permission of white people. When that happens the "more perfect union" comes out and conspires to conduct election fraud to stop the minorities' vote being cast or counted. That's the way the very wise founders intended it. Way back at the beginning, before cyberland was even a twinkle in Al Gore's eye, they never even imagined a world where minorities would even try to vote. Run along now and don't you worry about things like the DOJ. They won't have any power over anything until Republicans are, again, in that big white house on the hill.
