As to "Liberals", I think we tend to rely on evidence and facts. With the cult, there is no rational evidence of facts, none.

Liberals are just as quick to embrace things that affirm their biases. If not, Micheal Avenatti for president would never have been a thing. (On this very board.)

Seth Abrahamson wouldn't have been a thing (on twitter).

The Krassenstein Brothers would never have been a thing on twitter. (Before they were banned.)

David Hogg wouldn't have started selling fucking PILLOWS as a liberal pillow purveyor to battle Mike Lindell.

There are a lot of grifts that are successful in the liberal world.

This isn't meant to attack liberals. I think we need to question where stories are coming from and the reality of it.

The thousands of Haitian on the border needs to be investigated, but we currently have no proof that jason "Big Face" Miller had anything to do with it. That's where investigative journalists and law enforecemtn should come in to investigate. And we should look at factual evidence and not make leaps in logic. (Even though my personal bias tells me that there is something fucking fishy about thousands converging on the border last week.)

2. The massive influx of Haitians from Brail at the border was very odd. Time will tell. To have around 15,000 people show up in a manner of a few days isn’t normal.

Somebody got them together and somebody managed to get them to our southern border all at once. But who? And how? I hope there are investigative reporters looking into it.

As a rule, I would not expect any of the Fat Man’s associates to be clever enough to organize and pull such a thing off. Could Bolsonaro, himself, have helped? If not him, then who else in Brazil? In the U.S.? Elsewhere?

If we, as a nation, have the time, time will tell the story.

There was no evidence that the lawsuit against Giuliani was thrown out.

There was evidence that 15,000 Haitians were camped out at the Texas border. (The belief that there was some sort of conspiracy was because most of them came from Brazil and some had left Haiti months and years ago. It seemed more than coincidental, rather suspicious to some, that they all ended up under some bridge in a small town in Texas? It further added to the suspicion that Jason Miller, Trump confidante, was held in custody by Brazilian authorities just before it happened?)

Sometimes even paranoids have enemies.

Imagine waking up to the morning news, and learning that 15,000 people from an island in the Atlantic Ocean suddenly showed up at the border between Mexico and Texas--almost literally overnight. That in itself is suspicious, even without all the rest of it--including the optics of the border patrol agents on horseback rounding up people, and whipping them with long reins. Most of us came to the conclusion that something hinkey has been going on here without ever visiting social media.

I'm always rankled by a post that ends in a curt command to "discuss", but I've so far never responded.

I've seen OP's in that format much more often than I'd like to on DU. I'm not sure where the format originated. I've wondered if it's something that posters picked up from classroom assignments in their college years.

We should investigate and not jump to conclusions. In another post I said my bias is that something strange happened on the border. I have a feeling that something strange happened because it makes no sense. But having said that I don't have facts or proof that Jason Miller or the GOP had anything to do with it.
