The focus was republicans in disarray. Trump and Ryan were fighting each other over the debt limit and the government shutdown.

was forced out of congress to put mccarthy in charge - a guy who was 100% trump. that push on rw media to replace ryan with an even more teabaggy ayn randian dittohead stooge was a unified rw media push vs a few more traditional republican con outlets not in love with trump and may have been what media translated as 'republicans in disarray'

there is a hell of a lot of analysis in media that completely ignores the effect of 1500 think tank (incl russian)-coordinated radio stations - like studying fish without water

how they will present it, and which guests they invite on to give their opinion. It seems like the different media conglomerates have some kind of communication with each other at some level. When they go after someone, they're all in, regardless of facts. I remember reading something a long time ago, which stated keeping family fortunes required owning a bank, a newspaper, and something else...maybe a Senator? It was in Ferdinand Lundberg's book "The Rich and the Super-rich"

If they hear so-and-so is going to be on somewhere, they jump on the bandwagon. Not hard to find out what another outlet is doing. And if there is any conspiracy in media, it is to make as much money as possible. Media outlets, print, internet, television, are about cash.

I don't think 'news' is their product anymore. Talking about specific blurbs is. Doesn't have t be news at all. Advertising is a shared asset, as those conglomerates have interests in every industry across the board. I do believe the real value is in creating perception. That can't be measured in dollars and cents

Way back when, TV news was thought to be a public service. Then it dawned on someone they could make money on the news.

Les Moonves, disgraced CBS news chief, said, "I don't know if Trump is good for the country, but he's good for CBS." That's it in a nutshell.

At the beginning of the week, you couldn't get away from the crisis at the border, those thousands of Haitian refugees huddled under a bridge. Then it was the sadistic border patrol cowboys whipping some of them. President Biden came out and made a statement that that shit was stopping right fucking now. But the whipping images kept coming, as if they were ongoing and not an isolated incident.

By Friday, every last one of the people at the border was gone. Less than a week. Some had been sent back to Haiti, others went back south, but the majority of them were allowed into the country and given court dates to plead their cases. The news had NOTHING on that. Oh, a little footage of the now-deserted bridge, but that was it. No mention of the refugees taken in. Not a peep about the incredible speed with which it happened. Nothing. By October there will be even less than that.

uber wealthy. Life is grand from their perspective, why mess with it?

Granted, I unfairly generalize. But I'm also becoming less concerned about being fair-minded when it comes to dealing with the threats we face against democracy upon which equal rights -- both social and economic -- depend completely. Splitting hairs at this point is unproductive -- case in point, Democrats in Congress today. We need to be united behind Biden's plan 100% -- the $3.5 billion infrastructure and reconciliation. We 're talking peanuts compared to defense spending and obligations/debt and the federal deficits the Rs created and bear responsibility for.

Their ratings must be horrendous since they don't report his daily scandalous outrages they could bank on for four years (five, if you add the 2016 campaign bonanza for them).

Pretty sure many of these narcissists just would LOVE to have him back on the daily basis.

When he ended the war. Until they began to take heat from other sources… they want the division, can not live without it. All those war journalist lose their high paid jobs. They are still doing it but are being exposed by other sources.

Biden and his tram are coming out telling people what is happening. I have noticed the hateful questions have cooled dow, Biden spent a long time answering questions this week. He maimed all the problems he was faced with and what he was doing.

Not one insulting name call.
