I think it's really hard to talk about politics right now...

...because the bad guys kind of won, and the people who are supposed to be the good guys seem to spend most of their time negotiating with the phantom decency they imagine the other side has

.... their side has no intentions of doing such a thing. Their only ambition is to come after us while waving a bloody machete in our faces with the intentions to cut our political throats and be gone with us so that their political agendas can proceed forthwith while being entirely unhampered, interrupted, or derailed.
