I didn't take to her right away at MSNBC. At the time for me it was all about Keith O.

But at this point she is the only one I watch religiously.

Don't get me wrong. I love MSNBC's lineup(and Current's). And I'm glad they're there. But I have issues with all of them. Except Maddow. I may miss the others occassionally, but I never miss her if I can help it.

She's smart. She's fair. She's passionate. She's funny.

She just makes sense.

And she makes nerdy sexy.

lol

BushCo sunk us into the debt that Republicans try to blame on Obama.

Like drunken fratboys annoyed at the help cleaning the mansion the morning after, "Can you stop clanking the bottles -and turn off the damn vacuum!"

And, of course, if they ever get back in the White House, just as sure as the sun rises in the east, we'll have to clean up after them again.

what is the real unemployment rate? And what are you basing this on? The OFFICIAL one is based on the U-3... if you are looking at the U-6, or what?

(I suspect all this is babble fish for this guy)

Do you think people that have been so discouraged looking for a job that they've stopped accurately looking
for one (the people are added to U3 to produce U4) really don't count as unemployed ?

Is that what you are telling me?

Because I know of zero well respected economist that will agree with you. Also other methods that the Feds use, these are STATISTICAL BY THE WAY also show a downward trend. So your argument is the Feds are lying.

The U-3 unemployment rate is limited. It only shows people who don't have jobs and have looked in the past 4 weeks.

U-4 adds people who have stopped looking for work because they’ve concluded none is available, plus the U-3 number.
U-5 adds people who would like to work but for whatever reason have not looked for work recently, plus the U-3 and U-4 number.
U-6 adds the underemployed, or part-time workers who want to be working full-time but cannot for whatever reason, plus the U-3, U-4, and U-5 number.

Latest U-6 stands at 14.7%. The U-6 rate is slowly ticking down.

funny how the right embraces the unemployment #'s when it benefits them. but as soon as the numbers turn, they go on a witchhunt suddenly damning its credibility. Two words: ALTERNATIVE. UNIVERSE.

Every friggin day, the conservative bullshit alternative reality machine spews and pukes out something new and the reality is that becomes their reality even if it far removed from reality.

probably the best person that we currently have delivering the message. Keith O was great too but got a little pompous. The constant war with O'Reilly was annoying.

I was on the 'phone recently when a "conservative" acquaintance brought up the fact that he hated Rachel.

She's a know-it-all he stated. All I could thing of saying was , "you know, on that we can agree"

So.... if you listened to her, you'd "know it all".

He wants his news and cometary from a "know - nothing"?

Conservatives are like brainwashed cultists. They believe things that are fantasies, and the more debunked their alternate reality, faith in that fantasy is considered strong, resolute, and worthy of praise.

Friggin' nuts.
