fancies himself a Blue Dog Democrat, which essentially places him squarely in the middle of the road. Yes, Ed is right there in the middle with the dead racoons and wearing the yellow stripe down his back. Like other DINOs, he has never represented his constituents, only his contributors.

And I cannot wait to get rid of him! He’s such a piece of work. He had the temerity to run against our beloved senator Akaka! Disgraceful, no shame, if he could win anything as a Republican here he would be one.

He had to resign his house seat to run for Senate for Akaka’s office in 2006 and he got his ass kicked, thank God. He lost by a lot. The only reason he’s in office now is because he thinks he can get his Senate job back from Mazie but Mazie is doing great and he needs to go home and cook rice.
