WOODSON TERRACE The FBI has launched an investigation after a video of a police dog biting a Black man repeatedly during an arrest drew attention and outrage online.
Woodson Terrace police Chief Randy Halstead said in an email his department was fully cooperating with federal investigators and the St. Louis County prosecutors office after they requested information about the arrest, which occurred around 7:15 a.m. Monday in the 4500 block of Woodson Road.
It was unclear what information investigators have requested, but the FBI typically investigates so-called color of law cases, in which government officials are alleged to have committed constitutional violations. This could include allegations of unreasonable or excessive force by police, who are required to use the least force necessary to gain a suspect or arrestees compliance.
The most recent color of law case in the news was the criminal trial of St. Louis police officers accused of beating an undercover colleague, Detective Luther Hall. In June, a Northwoods police officer was accused of using unreasonable force by striking a woman repeatedly at a drivers license office in Florissant.

What kind of human would do this to another human being.
You don't have to answer White supremacists. But to think they could get away this horrendous act is just like a trump supporter. Maybe check and see if they were in DC on 1/6.

WOODSON TERRACE, Mo. -- The FBI has opened an investigation into the arrest of a Black man in Missouri during which cellphone video shows three white officers allowing a police dog to repeatedly bite him.
...
Officers were called Monday morning to a report that a man had broken into a business in Woodson Terrace, according to a police statement posted on Facebook. The man appeared to be on drugs and threatened officers, and they warned him the dog would be used if he continued to resist arrest, the department wrote.
Cellphone video from an onlooker shows the dog biting the mans foot as he yells out in pain. The dogs handler holds it by a leash but allows the biting to go on for about 30 seconds.
After the officer pulls off the dog, the man appears to take a step but stumbles and the dog lunges at him again, biting one of his legs for another 30 seconds until the officer stops the animal.
The man was treated at a hospital and released. He hasn't been charged with any crimes.
