Questions for the political pundits...

Joe Biden was a Senator 35 f'n years, is not unintelligent and surely learned all the political tricks to get what you want...and surely he knows or can find something to use as leverage on Manchin and Sinema to get them kneeling to him rather than vice versa...

Why the hell ain't he pressing them hard...?

And maybe I'm missing something but why are the Dems as a whole, not seemingly more concerned with H.R.1 than the infrastructure stuff. I understand the infrastructure bills are good for the country and good politics for Joe, but if Trump's party wins back Congress, we're f**ked but good. And if they get the White House back in 2024 to boot, those of us here will end up in concentration camps.

And best I can tell from listening to the MSNBC pundits, the infrastructure legislation is shaky...

The Dem lawmakers have forgotten what the 2020 election was about...a slim majority in the House and VP tie-breaker in the Senate ain't enough clout to pursue agendas at the risk of losing Democracy.

They got to get off the "civilized" approach in dealing with the Party of Trump, who are barbarians and will do anything to win...

But that only works when both sides do it. When one side follows the rules and the other cheats, bends the rules, or ignores the rules altogether, you do not get ANYWHERE.

I really can’t say what I would like to about that guy other than he’s being paid by billionaires and attends gqp fund raisers. Pretty much says it all

bring home to their state or district. Manchin is in a very conservative state and Sinema is in a Republican leaning state. What they need to ask themselves, is there something you would vote for that is worth possibly losing your seat. In 2010, a lot of Democrats said that was the case with the ACA. Maybe there is nothing that would do it.
